Civitas academica of Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia (FKUI) just got another achievement. Delegation of FKUI student who were consisted of Fergie Marie Joe Runtu, Raditya Putra Djohan, Henny Zidny Robby Rodhiya and Reza Damayanti successfully grabbed 1st Best Project Research Award on The 2nd ASEAN Students Collaborative Project (ASCP) that was held on Sunday to Wednesday, 20th to 23rd August 2017 at The Sakala Resort, Bali.
ASCP is a research based activity between medical students in ASEAN countries that is initiated by FKUI in 2016. The purpose of ASCP is to encourage all medical student from twelve oldest and top faculties of medicine in ASEAN to be able to contribute in various community service activity that is systematic, planned and structured since early stage and conducting community-based research collaboration.
Besides 1st Best Project Research Award, the other achievement was 2nd Best Project Award that was given to PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Brunei; 3rd Best Project Award for Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital Mahidol University, Thailand; The Most Explorative Initiative Project Award that is taken by International University, Cambodia; and The Most Innovative Project Award for College of Medicine, University of the Philippines Manila, Philippines.
At the end of interview, Raditya Putra Djohan, one of the team member, shared tips for his fellow colleagues who is also willing to participated in an international conference. “Prepared everything as well as possible, both self preparation and materials. After that, boost up your self-confidence,” said him.
