Universitas Indonesia (UI) and PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Tbk launched the Campus Financial Ecosystem (CFEST) platform in a ceremony which was preceded by the signing of a collaboration between the Vice Rector for Human Resources and Assets at UI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dedi Priadi, DEA, and Head of BNI’s Institutional Banking Division 2, Efrizal, on Wednesday (13/09) at the Makara Art Center, UI Depok campus. This platform is designed to meet the needs of UI academics in terms of banking services, such as opening digital accounts, topping up Tapcash balances, e-wallet transactions, and various other banking transactions. Apart from the launch of the CFEST platform, on the same occasion the “Srikandi BUMN Goes to Campus UI” event was held, which was a collaboration between the Ministry of BUMN, Srikandi BNI, and the UI Career Development Center (CDC).
On this occasion, Prof. Dedi said that cooperation between the two parties had been well established so far, through several programs, including providing facilities for paying student education fees, cash management, employee payroll, issuing UI student cards, and building several facilities for learning needs.
“On behalf of all UI management and employees, we would like to express our highest gratitude for the cooperation between BNI and UI. Hopefully, what we have built together will be useful for the entire UI academic community as well as BNI,” said Prof. Dedi.
The event “Srikandi BUMN Goes to Campus UI” carried the theme “Prepare Yourself to be Global Talent and Bring Indonesia to the World”, presenting three speakers, namely the Director of Digital & Integrated Transaction Banking BNI, Corina Leyla Karnalies; BNI Finance Director, Novita Widya Anggraeni; and Schoters CEO, Radyum Ikono.
Through this event, students are expected to be able to increase their motivation to work and innovate, so that in the future they will have the best ability to create a developed Indonesia. Novita Widya in her presentation said that Indonesia had gone through several economic challenges, including inflation.
When a crisis occurs, various sectors learn many lessons, especially about how to survive and overcome challenges. Therefore, if they want to win competitions at the global level, students must prepare themselves to be competitive.
Corina Leyla said that currently, Indonesia is included in the list of the top 10 countries with the best economic power in the world and BUMN has a role in advancing the country’s economy. To continue to maintain this achievement, transformation must continue to be carried out so that Indonesia can adapt to change. One of these transformations must come from the younger generation.
“To all students who will face global competition, you must not remain stoic because changes will continue to occur. Enrich yourself with knowledge that can be learned from anywhere. Apart from deepening your knowledge, you must also have supporting abilities, such as leadership, mastery of technology, and communication skills,” said Corina.
