Alumni Sharing of FIA UI: Time Management, The Key to Future Success

Time management and consistency during college will greatly determine the future of a student. This is the conclusion of the event organized by the Department of Governance of Commerce and the Student Association of the Department of Governance of Commerce (Himania) in Alumni Sharing (a series of Business Week events) on Monday (8/11). Deputy Director of International Development at PT Sparta Karya Bangsa Ihsan Tobing, an alumni who became the first guest speaker, said that time is a valuable asset, so we have to make the most of it. To be successful, it definitely requires sacrifice, so we must always focus on the goals we want to achieve.

“So this is the art of how to balance your time. Life has its moments. So that in each of these times, we need to determine our life goals. Time management makes it all measurable,” he said. Subsequently, Erik Rivai Rizal, who is an Alumnus of Governance of Commerce from Class of 1985 and CEO of Infotek, said that we must dare to take chances and never be afraid to fail because failure is part of life. “If we fail, get up again. Never give up,” he explained.
