Depok, August 2nd 2023. Big Data Center IMERI–Idealab launched the Cloud Computing Analytics feature as the ultimate feature of the Big Data Center which was previously launched in January 2022. A feature developed by Big Data Center, Indonesian Medical Education and Research Institute–Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia (IMERI–FKUI), UMG Idealab, and PT Solusi 247 was launched online via the Medicine UI Zoom Meeting and Youtube channel, on Monday (31/7).
The Head of the Big Data Center, Prasandhya Astagiri Yusuf, S.Si., M.T, Ph.D., said that the development of this feature was based on the needs of researchers who had collaborated with the IMERI–Idealab Big Data Center. “For the past one and a half years, the IMERI–Idealab Big Data Center has won the trust of researchers in the health sector to store data and catalog their data to become a collaboration of data in the IMERI Big Data Center. However, there is one feature that is not owned, even though this is the ultimate feature. Therefore, together with PT Solusi 247, we developed Cloud Computing Analytics to help researchers work,” said Prasandhya.
He added that this feature is believed to be able to help analyze big data models in the health sector and carry out Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects quickly and efficiently. This feature is complemented by various tools, such as dataset management, features store, code management, experimentation with Zeppelin & Jupiter notebooks or low code tools, experimental result management, model management, as well as serving and monitoring models. To introduce this feature to researchers, Big Data Center IMERI–Idealab will hold a data analytics workshop in the health sector at the end of August with the theme “ Learning A to the Z Cloud Computing Analytics ”.
With the Cloud Computing Analytics feature as a new technology, the IMERI–Idealab Big Data Center is able to automatically identify patterns from data, make predictions, and extract new insights. Director of IMERI–FKUI Prof. dr. Badriul Hegar, Ph.D, Sp.A(K) said, “In an effort to reach researchers, the IMERI–Idealab Big Data Center continues to improve the quality of its services through implementing its vision into goals, strategies, and actions that comply with standards. It is hoped that the researchers can optimally utilize the existing facilities at the IMERI–Idealab Big Data Center.”
This end-to-end AI feature was successfully realized by collaborating with PT Solusi 247, which has decades of experience in the IT field, to present an integrated and up-to-date health big data analysis system. Their commitment to developing data processing systems, especially low code tools in the field of computing analytics, will be further developed together with the IMERI-Idealab Big Data Center.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FKUI Prof. Dr. dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, Sp.PD-KGEH., MMB, said that the Big Data Center with the Cloud Computing Analytics feature is a joint effort to optimally utilize health data. “IMERI is present at FKUI not only for research purposes at FKUI, but also for the benefit of UI and Indonesia. Therefore, we must work together in accordance with the vision and mission of FKUI. The process of perfecting the Big Data Center is still ongoing and we hope that researchers can use it for formal research, as well as for national and global level research,” said Prof. Ari.
The use of cloud computing technology is currently very important for the health sector, especially in terms of cost savings and resource efficiency. With the launch of the Cloud Computing Analytics feature, Big Data Center is now an end-to-end platform to encourage and assist researchers in the health sector. Also present at the launch was theVice Director of IMERI FKUI, Prof. Dr. dr. Budi Wiweko, Sp.OG(K), MPH; UMG Idealab Founder, Dr. Harry Kasuma Aliwarga, B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Sc; and President Director of PT Solusi 247, Beno Pradekso.
