Moscow State University delegations came to Ruang Rapat A Pusat Administrasi
Universitas of Universitas Indonesia (UI), to exlpore cooperation on educational and sport
field with UI.
Delegation of Moscow University consisted of Mr. Sergey Shakhray (President Indonesia &
Friendship Society), Mr. Vitaly Glinkin (Embassy of Russia), Mr. Mikhaik Kuritsyn (CEO of
Russia-Indonesia Business Council), and Mr. Maria Avdeeva (Chief of Staff Russia-
Indonesia Business Council).
The Delegations were greeted by UI leaders, who were Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Anis,
M.Met (Rector of UI), Prof. Melda Kamil Ariadno (Head of UI International Office), Dr.
Adrianus L. Waworuntu (Dean of Faculty of Humanities) and Prof. Dr. Ir. Harinaldi, M. Eng
(Director of Education).
In the cooperation exploration, Moscow University offered cooperation on several things,
among of them was establishment of Russian Language Center at UI.
“And vice versa, there will be Indonesian Language Center at Moscow University. I think
this is important so that communication between UI and Russian could be better,” said Mr.
Sergey Shakhray.
Besides, Moscow University also offered cooperation on medical and health field.
Especially on handling nearsighted on children.
Mr. Sergey also suggested sport tournaments between UI and Moscow University, in form
of football or badminton match.
In financial supervision and accounting field, he also talked about cooperation on
knowledge exchange between the two universities, such as apprentice and so on.
All of the offer was welcomed by Rector UI and will be followed up by signing the technical
cooperation agreement between the two parties ahead.
