Universitas Indonesia (UI) was participating in International Education and Technology Expo (IITE) 2023. This event is an international standard educational exhibition that is annually held in Indonesia and attended by various universities in Indonesia and abroad. This year, IITE 2023 was held for four days at Jakarta Convention Center, on February 16-19, 2023.
At the exhibition, UI ran a booth that provided information and promotion regarding study programs for all faculties, schools, and vocational education program at UI. This booth also facilitated answers for prospective students who were interested in study programs and campus life at UI.
“In today’s digital era, access to information is easier and can be obtained by anyone, but the information obtained is not necessarily accurate. UI accommodates convenience for prospective students who are interested in continuing their education at UI, one of which is offering tuition fees starting from 0 rupiah and various scholarships. By participating in this educational exhibition, we hope that the UI booth would be able to share accurate information and motivation for prospective students to continue their education to the tertiary level, especially at UI,” said Project Manager for the Public Relations and Public Information Disclosure Bureau UI, Rini Febriani., M.Si.
In its implementation, UI welcomed 975 prospective students, teachers, and parents from schools in Jabodetabek for four days. Rini added that the UI booth was full of visitors with various questions regarding the admission of new students, both from the vocational, undergraduate, and postgraduate education program levels. The presence of this educational exhibition is also a means of direct communication between prospective students and the universities they aim for.
