UI and Bank Jateng Collaborated in the Fields of Education, Research, and Community Service

One of the efforts to make an impact on society and the country is that universities must continue to expand cooperation with various partners. For this reason, Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Bank Jateng signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the fields of education, research and community service, as well as the use of banking products and services, on Tuesday (22/11). This collaboration was signed directly by UI Rector Prof. Ari Kuncoro, SE, MA, Ph.D., and President Director of Bank Jateng Supriyanto at the University Administration Center Building, UI Campus, Depok.

In his welcoming speech, Prof. Ari welcomed the visit and hoped that it would enhance the cooperative relationship between UI and Bank Jateng in the academic, technology, and research fields in supporting the realization of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and banking. “One of the demands for higher education institutions to have an impact on the society, including industries. As we know that the world is changing, especially since the struggle for supremacy has changed the configuration of the world’s supply chain which requires a central third party. This is an opportunity to analyze UI deficiencies and develop research & innovation with Bank Jateng. UI has the competence to help support the priorities of Bank Jateng, such as research that can be carried out as an output from this collaboration which is supported by the financial system. It is hoped that both parties can work together in advancing Indonesia,” he said. Responding to this, President Director of Bank Jateng Supriyanto added that his party would support cooperation between Bank Jateng and UI, which can provide convenience for Central Java students at UI. “UI has become one of the best universities in various world rankings. Based on this, it has motivated us to participate in supporting the development of UI and Indonesia, especially Central Java,” said Supriyanto.

Amelita Lusia, M.Sc.; Director of PT UI Advisory Firdaus Rosean Rony, CMA, M.Acct .; and Director of DM (PT Daya Makara) Fakhrudin, M.Sc.

Meanwhile representatives from Bank Jateng also attended the meeting, including the Director of Institutional Business, Treasury, and Sharia Business Unit Ony Suharsono; Senior Executive of TSI Yudiana Mustari; Corporate Secretary Herry Nunggal Supriyadi; Head of Consumer Business Division VC Dyah Ratri; Deputy Head of Institutional Division and Transaction BankingAgus Hastono; and Head of the Jakarta Branch Wasito Adi Waluyo.
