All citizens of Universitas Indonesia (UI) are proud with the 5 score that UI got on institutional
assessment of ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).
UI is the first university in Indonesia that was assessed by AUN QA on institutional level.
The assessment included desk evaluation for SAR – Self Assessment Report that is presented by
UI, and also site visit by the assessor team on May 14 th to 19 th 2017.
On the official letter that was accepted by UI, the institutional assessor team of AUN QA rated
UI with these points below:
i) 5 for Strategic QA
ii) 5 for Systemic QA
iii) 5 for Functional QA
iv) 5 for Result
The 5 point means that it is ‘Better than Adequate’ or ‘Performance of the quality assurance
practice shows good results and positive improvement trend’.
In general, it can be said that performance of quality assurance implementation in UI could be
one of the reference for higher education quality assurance on ASEAN level.
UI leaders gave highest appreciation for all UI citizens, especially for university and share
holders team who gave their support so that this achievement can be achieved.
