UI Holds Coordination Meeting and Signing of Integrity Pact for PPKS Task Force 2024-2026

Universitas Indonesia (UI) held a Coordination Meeting and Signing of the Integrity Pact for the UI Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKS) for the 2024-2026 period at the University Administration Center Building, UI Depok Campus. The meeting, which also discussed the discourse on the transition from the PPKS Task Force to the PPK (Prevention and Handling of Violence) Task Force in the next year, also scheduled training to improve the effectiveness of the Task Force’s services.

Head of the UI Quality Assurance and Internal Supervision Agency, Dr. Edmon Makarim, S.Kom, S.H, LL.M said that the UI PPKS Task Force was formed as a form of commitment to carrying out its duties with professionalism and responsibility to prevent and handle sexual violence at UI. “Therefore, synergy between the Task Force and all UI elements is important in handling sexual violence on campus,” said Edmon.

In this activity, all members of the UI PPKS Task Force for the 2024-2026 period were introduced, and a video documentation of the Task Force selection process was also shown. Next, members of the 2024-2026 UI PPKS Task Force read and signed the Integrity Pact. As a form of appreciation, a certificate of appreciation was given to the UI PPKS Selection Committee, followed by the delivery of messages and impressions.

At the end of the activity, the coordination meeting of the 2024-2026 UI PPKS Task Force continued by discussing the work program plan, budget allocation, and the reporting system for cases of sexual violence. The 2024-2026 UI PPKS Task Force also plans to collaborate with the UI Satellite Clinic or work units that have psychological services for victims.
