UI Participated in Celebrating the 58th National Health Day with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022
In celebrating the 58th National Health Day in 2022, the Ministry of Health once again held “Appreciative Exhibition of Innovation Products and Domestic Health Technology in Supporting the Transformation of the Health System” which was held on November 3-5, 2022 as well as the “Business Matching of Research Outcomes on Medical Devices” on November 5, 2022 at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Tangerang. The purpose of holding the exhibition is to introduce and increase interest in health care facilities to use domestic medical device products. The purpose of holding a Business Matching is to introduce the results of research on medical devices between Universitas Indonesia and Industry, which was presented by Prasandhya Astagiri Yusuf, S.Sc., M.T., Ph.D, one of the Heads of the Business Incubator Sub Directorate, Directorate of Innovation and Science Techno Park, Universitas Indonesia .
As part of higher education, Universitas Indonesia continues to encourage the creation of research/innovation products from Universitas Indonesia researchers that aim to increase the use of domestic medical device products. In this exhibition, Universitas Indonesia displayed 7 research/innovation medical devices that have been able to be produced, including Respiratory Sterilizers, Suction Device, Digital Microcapillaries, Facial Bone – Screws Implants, Spinal – Bone Plates Implants, Glaucoma Implants by Rohto, and Kinesia Tool.
The Booth of Universitas Indonesia also had the opportunity to be visited by Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.A.P (the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural) accompanied by Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, CHFC, CLU (the Minister of Health) and Prof. dr. Dante Saksono Harbuwono, Sp.PD-KEMD, Ph.D. (the Deputy Minister of Health).
It is hoped that the involvement of Universitas Indonesia in the National Health Day exhibition will be able to realize the Ministry of Health’s goal of introducing and increasing interest in health care facilities to use domestic medical device products.
