UI Football Team and Athletics Team Got Gold Medals in BIG 2015

Tim BIG 2015.jpgFootball team and athletics team of Universitas Indonesia (UI) contributed gold medals for Indonesia in The 26th Biennial Intervarsity Games (BIG) at Hongkong on Sunday, June 6th 2015. UI got the title on football after defeated University of Macau and University of Hongkong by round robin competition system. UI also got gold medals on 100m, 200m and 800m athletics for women category.

Besides gold medals, UI Team also contributed a number of silver and bronze medals for Indonesia. These are complete list of UI achievement in BIG 2015.

Biennial Intervarsity Games (BIG) is an international sports competition between Asia Pacific universities that is held biennially. The 26th BIG was held at Flora Ho Sports Center,  University of Hong Kong on June 22nd to 29th 2015.

BIG 2015 was participated by six universities in Asia Pacific that represented each nations, that was consisted of University of Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China), National University of Singapore (Singapore), Universitas Indonesia (Indonesia), University of Malaya (Malaysia), University of Western Australia (Australia), and University of Macau (Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China). BIG contend eight sports, that is aquatics, athletics, badminton, basketball, football, table tennis, volleyball and tennis.
