Universitas Indonesia (UI) is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Director of Business Unit Management and Development.
This position is responsible for strategizing, managing operations, and developing UI’s business units to enhance sustainable financial contributions to the university.
Responsibilities
Business Unit Management:
1. Ensure all UI business units operate with professional and efficient business standards.
2. Oversee operational performance, financial management, and risk management of the business units.
Business Development Strategy:
1. Develop strategic plans for diversification and expansion of UI’s business units.
2. Identify new business opportunities aligned with the university’s values and mission.
Collaboration and Synergy:
1. Foster strong relationships with business partners, government, and private sectors.
2. Integrate business units with university programs to maximize synergy.
Financial and Investment Management:
1. Optimize financial management of business units to maximize returns for the university.
2. Supervise the investment fund allocation across business units.
Team Leadership:
1. Lead the management team of business units to meet set targets.
2. Provide training and development to enhance team competencies.
Requirements
1. Minimum Master’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field.
2. At least 10 years of senior-level experience in business unit management, corporate business management, or similar sectors.
3. Proven track record in managing a diverse business portfolio.
4. Strong business analysis and development strategy skills.
5. Deep understanding of financial management and investment principles.
6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
7. Familiarity with regulations concerning business management in the educational sector is an advantage
