Unit Kerja Khusus Science Techno Park (UKK STP) at Universitas Indonesia is opening opportunities for talented professionals to join as the Head of Business Incubation and Venture Building Division. This position plays a strategic role in supporting the development of the innovation ecosystem at Universitas Indonesia, particularly in building technology-based businesses and fostering the growth of startups originating from campus innovations. We are looking for individuals with experience in business incubation, venture building, and startup development, who possess strong leadership spirit, an innovative vision, and the ability to build strategic collaborations with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
– Designing and Managing Business Incubation Programs:
Formulate strategies and roadmaps for incubation programs that support the development of innovation-based startups within UI.
Conduct selection and curation of startups to participate in UI’s incubation programs.
– Supporting Venture Building:
Assist startups in formulating business models, marketing strategies, and product development.
Provide mentorship to startup founders on business management and fundraising.
– Developing Strategic Collaborations:
Build relationships with investors, venture capitals, and industry partners to support startup development.
Facilitate collaborations between startups and government or academic institutions.
– Promoting Innovation Commercialization:
Identify research outcomes from Universitas Indonesia with commercialization potential.
Aid in the transformation of research results into market-ready products or services.
– Leading the Business Incubation Division Team:
Manage the division team effectively to achieve strategic targets.
Ensure the implementation of division programs aligns with UKK STP UI’s vision.
– Monitoring and Evaluation of Programs:
Compile progress reports on incubated startups.
Evaluate program effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum Master’s degree in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years in managing business units or startups, with 3 years in a senior role.
Strong track record in mentoring startups and venture building.
Proven ability to foster strategic partnerships with investors and industry.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and innovation commercialization processes.
